My little sunshine... growing up so fast & with each day becoming more beautiful. We combined our birthday's this year & celebrated at my mom's house. They have a park near by so after the festivities we all walked over and had the best time goofing around. I captured this one of Hailey as she was twirling...

Exploring
We all went for a drive the other day and ended up by the Kingston Ferry. They are re-doing the whole area down there and put in a great little park by the water. Got a little family photo op...
Gwendilyn's First Salon Visit...
This week I took Gwen for a treat... Her first salon haircut! We went to visit my best friend Melissa at her salon & Gwen said she felt like a princess. Melissa didn't cut much off but gave her some shape & a few layers in front and then angled her bangs a little more. Yay! It looks amazing! Next time... Ethne. ;)

Wow... It's been a while...
Amazing how life whisks you away and you sit for a moment and go... wow. I have been so busy lately, blog is suffering. I will try to get some pictures and posts up this week. Get back into the grind.
St. Pattie's Day was really relaxing. I got a pass and went over to Tim & Amanda's place to have some corned beef, guinness, and dancing. Spent most of the night by the campfire. This week has been full of long days since Bri left... but the kids and I have been keeping busy and getting through it. haha.
Bri is in Arizona for his 12 year old team... they lost 3 and won 1 but they were good games. He is back Monday and the job hunt continues. Pray.
Gwen got her report card and is doing an awesome job. Daisy Scouts are really fun and we are finished with cookie sales so the girls will be choosing soon where to go/what to do with the money we raised for our troop.
The twins are really branching out with their writing and drawing. Tristan's new favorite Wii game is Super Mario Bros... even though it is really hard he's a trooper. Ethne and I planted some make shift greenhouses and this morning we have sprouted our mixed greens and our green & yellow beans! Waiting for the peppers and green onions. Next up will be mixed carrots, lemon cucumbers, basil, and roma tomatoes.
But the best thing that happened this week was that I got an early birthday present. I had been wanting a particular photo of M.M. and had posted it early in my blog. Well, on St. Pattie's Day a package came and it was huge. It wasn't marked too well and just had my name so I opened it and low & behold... it was the most amazing photo of M.M. ever. It wasn't the one I had previously posted, BUT it was from the same photo shoot and it was even better!! She looks so free... and she is barefoot, hair tousled and in a white (of course) sun dress. She looks like a true hippie. I immediately started to cry when I saw it. It is now hanging over my bed... I am in awe when I look at it.
With all the crazy ups & downs of stress over the past two weeks... it made my month. Thank you from the depths of my soul. The time & effort that went into trying to find the photo I wanted, is VERY appreciated. All the love & peace I have... biggest hugs forever. Muah.

Girl Scouts - Daisy Troop
Gwen is very excited because she is a Girl Scout in the Daisy Troop this year, along with most of her friends. We have been busy learning about being a scout and trying to sell cookies. We were able to attend our first meeting last night and it was quite fun!

From Gwendilyn's Viewfinder
One night, before Christmas, we all went out shopping and traffic was horrendous. So, to pass the time, I took pictures of the traffic but swayed the camera to create light designs. The kids loved it.
Tonight, Gwen asked me to download her pictures from her camera because she wanted to show me the last one she took. She is very proud of this one, as am I!

My Favorite Marilyn Photo
I came across this a bit ago, but have not been able to find out who took the photo or if it is even available to purchase. There are so many good Marilyn photos out there, but they are hard to find. I get tired of seeing the same ones over and over. I always have been amazed in the beauty of trees and to see her looking so free and full of life in these photos... I would love to have this for my house.
