Ethne & the One Liners...
Yesterday morning, Ethne wanders down from waking up and after a little bit, turns to me and says... "Does anyone need a knuckle sandwich, cuz I'm starting to make a delivery." Then she laughs at herself and runs off.
Later that evening, we went and played on the playground while Brian was coaching a practice. It was a little hot so we went for a walk along the trees. She found the tiniest daisy, picks it, turns to me and says... "I'm giving you all the love I have."
This girl... she melts my heart.

The Wedding...
On August 7th, I will be shooting a wedding for a friend at Roche Harbor. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place on a huge sail boat. I was able to check it out the boat last week as it was docked off Lake Union. Cannot wait, this wedding is going to be beautiful! Wish me luck!

Playing in the Ball Field....
We joined Brian for practice tonight... the field had a huge play area and the sun finally broke through the clouds. The park started to get really crowded though, so we wandered over to one of the outfields and cava-squat... be still like vegetables, lay like broccoli... lol. With three kids that didn't last long. Luckily there were millions of tiny white daisies, and the kids thought I needed a make-over to be extra pretty (as Ethne put it) for daddy when he was done with practice.

Me & the Marilyn Red Lipstick...
Sometimes you just need to grab the camera and laugh at yourself. This is for Justin Bobby... thank you for the inspiration!
Ethne & the Seagulls....
Ethne's favorite birds are seagulls. On the ferry ride I was able to capture this one of her watching the seagulls swoop by the ferry & dive for bread being tossed by passengers.
Lavender Fields
Since Brian didn't have baseball on Sunday, we were able to have a much needed family outing. We packed up the car and headed over to Sequim for the yearly Lavender Festival. Twins were way excited for their first ferry ride. Car ride was long, given the traffic, but once we got there you could smell the lavender in the air. We ended up going to 3 farms and skipped the street fair because it was actually fairly small. The Purple Haze farm was by far my favorite... rock music playing, the landscape was beautifully planned out with amazing willow trees and it was located on Bell Bottom Rd. Heading back ferry traffic was not too bad and we caught the 830pm ferry just in time to see the sunset.
On the ferry ride over, the cloud cover had not burned off yet and it was extremely windy. This was taken on the front of the boat. Needless to say, we didn't stay long given Gwen & Ethne could barely see.
Gwen waking up in Sequim. We had stopped at QFC to get some bottled water before heading out to the farm tours. She stayed like this for about 10 minutes, not moving or blinking. For a moment I thought she had fallen back asleep with her eyes open.
Ethne's legs were hurting... She has grown over an inch in the last month and a half. We had lavender white chocolate ice creams and lavender lemonade, of course!

On the ferry ride home, enjoying the sunset. The water was so calm and a lot less wind this time.

Gwendilyn... Art & Letter to God
When Brian went to Arizona for baseball, Gwen drew this
on our way to drop him off at the airport. Mommy & Daddy
dancing in the woods. Notice the squirrel climbing up the tree.
She puts such thought into her pictures. ♥
The kids have been really into Veggie Tales lately.
She wrote this letter to God and asked me to mail it to him.
Double ♥
Phone Photos...
I'm about to get a new phone, so I have been going though all the photos taken & received on my phone. Not sure if I have posted these before but they are fun all the same. ;)
Gwendilyn got to go to the M's game with daddy. They had a great time. At the same time, I was at Toy Story 3 with the twins. Gwen wanted to send me this picture of her at the game. Such a sweetie.
This is a picture that Ethne drew of me & her. I love her little stick people. This was taken a few months ago, I love the smiles and the hands.
Tristan... such a little nerd. We went to the park one day and played for about 30 minutes. Then he said, I need a break. I look over and he is trying to take a nap. He said, I am tired so I will take a quick nap and then play some more.
Tim sent me this one... yep, that is my brother and I love him to death. ;)
Hailey is such a little jeep girl. I can see them just like this when Hailey is older... riding the trail behind daddy. Hailey driving and Evie shotgun.

Ohh Evie...
Sunday Tim brought his clan over and we had a great day in the sun. I followed Evie around for a bit and did a mini photo session. She is such a ham for me... Got some amazing photos. When it was time to go, she crawled on the stairs and I was able to capture this one...
@ the Fair of Lilith
Amanda & I took to the road for the rebirth of Lilith Fair to see our Queen of Depression, Sarah McLachlan. It was an amazing trip & got to see some sweet bands perform. Although it was not the great fair it was 10 years ago, it was still worth it. Especially since I was able to get both our tickets for only 20 bucks!
On the grassy knoll... we searched until we felt a good energy from those around us. It was a perfect day, not too hot but clear and sunny... so we basked in the sun for most of the day. Tossed back a few... laughed at the drunk dancers around us and witnessed a couple break up & make up about four times.
Not too shabby for being halfway up the knoll... Gotta love those zoom lens! This was one of Sarah's best concerts. She was so full of life and threw her whole heart into each song. She is truly an amazing soul.
I hope we are able to go next year!
